Passaro slate meets the European Standard of Durability, up to date, (less than a year old): BS EN 12326 and all crates carry the CE marking. The slate has an exceptionally flat surface and smooth riven texture that will not flake. The attractive colour of Passaro slate is totally natural and will not fade in sunlight. It contains no damaging minerals, such as pyrites and sulphides, is impermeable to water and is resistant to fire and frost.
